Why Haters Don't Matter

From Abraham Lincoln on haters:

If I were to try to read, much less answer, all the attacks made on me, this shop might as well be closed for any other business.

I do the very best I know how, the very best I can; and I mean to keep doing so until the end.

If the end brings me out all right, what's said against me won't amount to anything.

If the end brings me out wrong, ten angels swearing I was right would make no difference.

Other people’s opinions of you are none of your business.

It often comes from a place of insecurity—a reflection of what they wish they were doing but haven’t started. If you’re being criticized, it’s because you’re moving, growing, and taking the action they’ve avoided.

Take it as confirmation: you’re doing the work, showing up, and making waves. Criticism isn’t a sign you’re wrong—it’s proof you’re on the right path.

Keep going. You’ve earned it.
