Someone embarrassed by a speech impediment may try to avoid speaking in public, but then everyone wonders why they never talk.
People who are insecure about their relationship will post extra-lovingly about their partner on social media, drawing even more attention onto the thing they are most struggling with.
Trying to hide our insecurities only flashes a spotlight onto them.
What would happen if we simply owned them? Or, at least, accepted them?
