Enjoy this week’s round-up of curated videos, articles, and more from the web to help you live a healthier, happier life.
My team and I have been doing a lot of research into the Semaglutide/GLP-1 medications. We discovered numerous online support groups for the individuals thinking about taking, or already using, these medications.
Surprisingly, we didn’t find a single online support group for individuals transitioning off the medication.
Not one.
So we built it.
There are unique changes that occur when you transition off these medications, not limited to a return in appetite that present the unique challenge of avoiding weight regain.
If you or someone you know is thinking of transitioning off the medication, either because of the side effects or because they reached their weight loss goal, consider joining our free online support group filled with resources, advice, and community to help you in the next phase of your health journey.

Is Food Healthier in Europe?
Takeaway: Many people that travel abroad report feeling less negative effects of their meals, especially when it comes to carbs. It’s commonly suggested online that this is the result of the processing of food in the U.S.

How To Manage The Highs and Lows of Motivation
Takeaway: Motivation isn’t a steady current—it’s more like waves in the ocean. Some days, you’re riding high, unstoppable. Other days, you’re just trying to stay on the board.
The key to long-term success isn’t relying on motivation to stick around, but learning how to move forward even when it fades.
Is HIIT Better For Fat Loss Than Steady State Cardio?
Takeaway: HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is often attributed with better fat loss results. Entire fitness businesses (I.E. Orange Theory) have been built based entirely around this training modality. Recent research shows, however, that it may not be more effective than more traditional steady cardio.
Here’s the deal: HIIT is time efficient, offering the same benefit as more traditional cardio in less time. It’s great for busy folks and those who don’t want to spend a lot of time in the gym. That intensity is also a reason that many avoid it. Quite frankly, when done correctly, it’s uncomfortable.
The good news: If you prefer lower intensity cardio, or are new to exercise, you can achieve the same fat loss benefits as you would with HIIT training, it’ll just take a little more time.
