This year, I embarked on a secret project (my resolution, going strong!)—and now I’m thrilled to finally share it with you.
As someone who’s experienced the challenges of relocating to a new state and with a psychology background, I’m writing a book about friendship—how we form friendships as adults and how we can create meaningful connections in our busy lives.

This book is going to help you rebuild your social life. Whether you were a popular kid in school, or an introvert who always struggled to fit in, this book will equip you with the knowledge and the skills to create thriving relationships inside a strong community of care and connection.
This isn’t just about making friends, it’s about unlocking the part of you that’s been dormant for too long. The part of you that can walk into any social setting and know exactly how to create meaningful, lasting connections. It’s about having someone to call when your world has gone to sh*t.

And who am I to be sharing this information? I’m glad you asked. I am a once shy, still introverted, confusingly outgoing business owner, fitness coach, and psychology expert who spent my twenties sacrificing my friendships for my career.
At the age of thirty-one that life I’d built and loved came crashing down. My relationship, my friends, my home—all gone. It wasn’t until my world dissolved that I realized I had no one to call.
Facing rock bottom and a blank slate, I moved across the country, to a state I’d only ever heard of because of a once famous MTV reality show, where I knew only one person (whom I’d only met three times before that), to build a new life for myself.
That move meant I was truly starting from zero. No history to fall back on. No existing relationships to pave the way. I was a stranger in a strange place. That experience afforded me the rare chance to apply the knowledge and tools I’m sharing in this book to rebuild a community of friends better than anything I’d ever known.
