I feel embarrassed looking back on things I’ve written even just a year or two ago. When I go back ten years, I don’t even recognize the person I was.
Growth is one of the most beautiful things about life, but we have to prepare ourselves for what that growth means.
It means feeling embarrassed. It means making mistakes. It means carrying some regrets.
Most importantly, it means leaving old identities behind.
As I continue through life I’ll be refining many of the ideas that I share here. Some of these insights will remain timeless, and others will leave me embarrassed for having said them aloud.
I will welcome those moments of embarrassment as evidence that I haven’t wasted any time.
