Takeaway: Recognize that the only consequences of giving your full effort is failure. Failure brings you right back to where you started. Try and fail, or don’t try at all, either way you end up right where you are now. If the worst-case scenario for option A is the same as the best-case for option B, then taking option A is a no-brainer.
Full send.
I’ve been talking with lots of people who feel like something is missing.
They know they can do more, have more, be more.
Not do more mindless work, but do more of the work that lights them up.
Not have more things, but have more experiences that bring joy and growth.
Not be more of what’s expected, but be more of their authentic selves.
I am one of these people.
Maybe the last few years have beat you up. Maybe it’s been your whole life.
Regardless, one thing remains true:
We only have one shot at this thing.
So we’re going ‘full send.’
Full send conveys the idea of going all out or giving something one's maximum effort without holding back.
It’s recognizing that the only consequences of giving your full effort is failure. Failure brings you right back to where you started.
Try and fail, or don’t try at all, either way you end up right where you are now.
If the worst-case scenario for option A is the same as the best-case for option B, then taking option A is a no-brainer.
I’m making this year the year of going full send.
The year I surround myself with others going full send.
Will you be one of them?
