Takeaway: Most diets aren’t broken—they’re built to keep you stuck. Once you see the trap, you can focus on the right things and finally stop starting over.
What’s most interesting about the health industry is that all diets work…
…And at the same time, none of them work.
Here’s what I mean:
ALL diets—yes, every single one—work the same way: by controlling how many calories you consume. There are no exceptions.
What differs is how they help you control calories.
But here’s where it gets really interesting (buckle up):
Once you understand that every diet is a marketing scheme to rebrand calorie control, you can begin to find the methods that work for you—based on preferences, goals, and lifestyle.
That’s not even the most mind-boggling part of it all…
Once you find what works for you, you stop needing diets altogether.
Do you see the problem from a marketing angle?
If I’m selling you a specific diet plan, I don’t want you to realize you don’t actually need my program. So it’s in my best interest to convince you that the other stuff doesn’t work.
And in extreme cases? Try to convince you that calories don’t matter.
I see this all the time in the fitness industry.
My peers—the exceptional coaches doing life-changing work—see it too.
That constant start-over feeling? It’s caused by a system designed to keep you confused.
This is the diet hamster wheel in a nutshell. This is why Yo-Yo dieting exists.
It’s a cycle that can be broken—you can unplug from the Diet Matrix.
But it’s going to require an open-mind and a willingness to do things differently than you’re used to.
I’ve been educating people about the proper way to approach fitness and nutrition for over a decade, and I have tons of good resources for you to break the pattern.
When you’re ready to get off the hamster wheel and see real, lasting change, my inbox is always open.
